Philatelic Saloon - 2002
125 years from the State Independence Proclamation of
Romania
(1877-2002)
Held
with the occasion of the anniversary of 125 years from
the State Independence Proclamation of Romania the "Bucharest
Philatelic Saloon - 2002" opened its gates on the
9th of May 2002 in the central lobby of the Romanian
National History Museum. Here were united a part of
the most famous philatelic collections from the country
and they could be visited until the 19th of May 2002.
Also at the Romanian Post stand could be found new postal
wholes, the sheet issued with this occasion and advertising
stamps.

"Documents of Independence"
The
exposition was organized within the manifestations of
the "Bucharest Philatelic Saloon - 2002",
being hosted within the Romanian National History Museum.
In the exposition opening event on the 17th of May 2002,
the award granting of the exponents presented in the
Saloon was done.

"EFIRO '98"
Alongside
the "father of Romanian philately - mr. Kiri"
Kiriac Dragomir, and
other personalities
The exposition
organized in the Parliament Palace brought in front, for
the public
the famous "Auroch Head" from the Post Office
Conservatory, stamp pages
and rare postal issues that have not been presented to
the public since the
1932 edition.
The expositions
numbered hundreds of panels and within the manifestation
were awarded
tens of medals and prizes. |

"CARTO'99"
The
first card-collecting manifestation in Bucharest organized
by the Carto
Club, FFR and Connex, manifestation in which on 88 panel
faces, the
Bucharest public could, for the first time see the town's
history in images,
with the Bucharest types and faces, shops and merchants
from times
long forgotten

"ROMANIAN ASSEST TITLES"
The
personal exposition of Francisc Ambrus, founding member
of the Romanian
Carto Club, exposition organized with the help of FFR
and the Romanian
Carto Club, within the History Museum of Bucharest. Distributed
on 32
panel faces, the over 300, titles, receipts, shares and
stock obligations presented,
brought in front of the public, the grandeur of Romania
from a long time
ago, the financial and economic power of the country in
the almost 100 years
represented in this titles. |

"ENESCU AT VIENA"
Organized
by the Romanian Carto Club, and the Romanian Philatelic
Federation,
in the Romaniae Aula of the Romanian Cultural
Center in Vienna,
the exposition represented an homage which we, the people
of today
owe to whom was, a virtuoso of the violin, a great piano
player and orchestra
chief, a genial composer, exceptional pedagogue and
a great patriot.
The exposition presented to the visitors over two hundred
exponents,
among which were pictures representing important moments
from
the artist's life, posters and programs of some of the
concerts held in the
country or on the great stages of the world.
